Google Currents (Google+ for Enterprise)

these are increasingly turning into speculation that google would eventually acquire twitter. if it does happen, it could probably be the largest deal of its kind of all times.

Twitter is too large to operate as a Google app. It would be more like how WhatsApp works under Facebook. Independent subsidiary. Also twitter.com is just too important today to not get bids from Microsoft and Facebook or even Apple.

I was thinking in terms of how Waze stopped development for Windows Phone after Google acquired it.
But regarding WhatsApp, they are giving good support to WP even though Facebook does not have provided official app to WP, nor Instagram having good app which is also owned by Facebook.

yup. whatsapp unlike waze is a mass market product. they need to support all the important platforms otherwise competition would grab the opportunity. though whatsapp is too big to fail today so they have that going for them today. twitter has the same issue. they are too large to ignore any platform. even if the platform is web based (ubuntu phones are coming to india).

Introducing Google+ Collections on iOS

Google+ users on Android and the web are using Collections to connect with others around shared interests ranging from Homebrewing Google Profiles, Climbing Junkie Photos Google Profiles to Magical, Mystical Mountains Google Profiles and Marine Life Google Profiles. Today, we’re excited to announce Collections on iOS.

Create a Collection about something you’re interested in; make as many as you’d like; and don’t worry about over sharing since people can follow just the Collections they like.

Google+ users who have already created Collections asked us for the ability to customize who can see their Collections and if they could add taglines to describe them. We recently announced these features on Android and the web; today they are also available on iOS. To better explore the wide range of Collections Collections - Google+ already created, we announced last week that you can search for Collections on Google+ on Android as well.

Thanks to everyone for these ideas. Please keep the feedback coming - we’re listening. Have questions about Collections? Check out our Help Center Create and edit collections - Google+ Help or join this community for Help, Tips & Tricks: Google+ Help - G+ Collections Help - Community - Google+.

To get Collections in your Google+ iOS app, download it here: Google+ on the App Store on iTunes.

We can’t wait to see what Collections you create!

Not that anyone care :D but this is a good indication where logos of all Google apps are going to be like in near future.
