When I opened the app today morning, I also got the same pop up and now the Duo app has been renamed to Meet in the phone's app drawer.

Same with me. After earlier Meet App got updated to Meet (Original), Duo got renamed to Meet.

Now have two apps looking almost same - Duo renamed as "Meet" and Google Meet renamed as "Meet (Original)". The new Meet opens to the usual one-to-one dialer of duo, but there is also option to join a meeting by code in search and to create a new meeting in "new".
The Meet (original) opens to start/join a meeting option.

I had read some article which mentioned some technical glitch on Google side due to which Duo reappeared. But according that article Duo may go again.

I tried to open both apps few days back. I was not able to identify the difference. I thought same app is opening if I select Meet and Original.
