well you need to realize a basic fact. google does not have service centers in india to provide the critical support. it is on Asus to offer it. i assume they would bring it to india before the end of the year.
But google is the final decision maker as it is a nexus device, asus has its cc network already.... But It is more about why India comes last on the priority list, at the price points it can virtually kill other products in the market like ss Galaxy tab2 etc.
similarly Apple wants a 50% margin on sales from a country like India. yes Indians cant buy apple iPhones at intl. rates now but after a few years they can, but at that time Apple will be like an Alien in the market as it never tried to build a brand image in India like Samsung or try bringing country specific phones.

You yourself said it. It can kill samsung products(Galaxy, tab2) and samsung is pretty much important for google. Galaxy S3 is considered top phone in android and iPhone is ofcourse top of iOS.
Apple don't need to build up brand image. It already has pretty strong brand recall factor. Even some students(in my clg) who come from tier II towns know abt apple and its products.

Any one here who uses external storage with Nexus 7? What is a better and easier way? Rooting or buying the 130 odd rs app in play store?
