Google Pixel 6 - Google Pixel 6 Pro

@Rickysin I think 5.4 would be way too small, especially when you are used to 6.4 and drop to 5.4, that is a huge difference. IMO, ~6 would would give a better balance of screen and battery.

1. Because of the lackluster support that Google provides: Pixel 3 XL never got VoWiFi support for Vi and Airtel. What's the point of providing software updates if you can't even add features like VoWiFi!

2. Higher failure rates: My OG Pixel XL developed an issue with the haptics. Had to get it repaired. While repairing the haptics they damaged the display hence had to wait longer to get the panel replaced too.
My Pixel 3 XL developed display issues in warranty period. Had to send the device to them twice as initially they denied there was an issue. Only after it got aggravated they accepted that there is indeed a problem and replaced the panel. This January I got it's battery replaced as I had planned to use it for a year and a half more. Just last month the digitiser started acting up and made the phone unusable. That was it for me. Bought a Galaxy S21 and have no plans to touch Google smartphones again.

Nexus 4 -> Nexus 6 -> Nexus 6P -> OG Pixel XL -> Pixel 3 XL.

So I wasn't the only one experiencing screen issues with my pixel device. Wonderful. The devices really were pretty shit quality.

I genuinely do not understand what Google was thinking when they opted for that tiny battery for 5g phones. I mean when 4g was announced back in 2016, phones with 3000mah battery would be dead before end of day if 4g was used extensively. The minimum, I believe was 4000 mah to last whole day. 5G is supposed to be more power intensive than 4g and will suck the battery even more. With the current technology, I think 4500-5000mah would have made more sense, even if Google claims its software is optimised to reduce battery consumption.

How much money can they save by giving 3000mah battery instead of 5000mah ?
Whole battery costs less than 10 dollars and the differential between then two must not even be 2-3 dollars
