Google has approached major cable and phone companies that carry Internet traffic with a proposal to create a fast lane for its own content, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. Google has traditionally been one of the loudest advocates of equal network access for all content providers.

You always come up with news which attempt to create a sensation! You can get easy entry in some news channels.
 
well the problem is that his types of news won't make anyone worried here in india. :)
 
@warthogWhat will you do IF (repeat) IF there is no Google or Yahoo or other search engines?From where can you get all your "Doomsday' messages ?Will you subscribe to Wall Street Journal and other magazines/newspapers Indian as well as foreign ?and post your "informative" news ?You have to employ number of persons to read and extractall the information you want.( Before Internet : BI like BCLike a Lawyer's assistant/junior burning midnight oil to check for previous court/s judgements from Law journals!!!Para two:AI ( after Internet ) like AD !!TRY search engines !!!like @ warthog !!!Everything has positive and negative use, and you seem tohighlight only the negative aspects.Para three :As an Internet user/layman , I won't even dare to take part in technical forum/s, and give suggestions/info/help to others, without cross checking my sources.( wherever possible).The learning process never stops.
 
agreed that warthog is our own little amusing (annoying to some maybe) news sensationalist :Dgoogle has already rebutted that claim (they only want non-exclusive local mirroring/caching) and it has been reported in the blogs/slashdork sites etc...im not saying google is not evil... yes, being such a large company with so many "business executives" (we know how moral they are) they are bound to think and do evil at some level :Dand @warthog you should keep it up... never know when you really hit some significant piece of news some large corporation is trying to hide...
 
essebee i dont use google.I use scroogle,cuilyou are supporting the death of the internet.They will use this tired service and force the internet to die down.Internet 2 will be only ~1000 sites and owned by corporates.it will be cable like system.i hate your ignorance:@ and i only highlight the realistic aspects
