Now i know why jio fiber roll up is being done in so massive scale everywhere.

Do you guys think it will be economically viable to set up Wi-Fi hotspots under PM Wani project?. We can identify local Kirana stores, PGs and other high usages places to setup hotspots. Can give one free connection to the owner of the location or give fixed rent in return for space & power supply. It will turn out cheaper than opting for dedicated FTTH connection for many people and more reliable than 4G.

It will be a recurring revenue stream for us.

I saw one internal circular of CSC E Govt Services which says total investment per location is around 10k (for hotspot AP) and we have to use the existing broadband connections. Price per GB is Rs.1.

How to access broadband on PM-WANI Wi-Fi?

The potential user who wants to access Broadband through Public Wi-Fi will need to download the relevant App, get authenticated, and thereafter access Broadband at any Public Wi-Fi Hotspot.
When the user reaches a Public Wi-Fi Hotspot, the App on the mobile phone will show various available networks. The user can then choose the Public Wi-Fi network of choice, pay an amount – either online or through voucher – and use the network till the balance is exhausted.

Wouldn't it have been better if it were 1 nation 1 app 1 Tariff? and maybe Akhand Bharat validity.
I couldn't find any QoS info. If anyone does please share.

Well; each state would want its fair share of profit. So 1 Nation 1 App will never really be a thing.
Also these plans are fucking expensive!!
