Happy Republic Day to all!Personally, I see the Republic Day celebrations as a celebration of the idea of 'a Republic of India'. That idea has not been achieved yet - far from it. But will I boycott that idea or not cherish it? I don't think so. Rather, I will take a renewed pledge veery 26th of January to ensure that the spirit of the Constitution is followed by me in my personal capacity and if ever hold a public office, in my official capacity as well.

People are labeled unpatriotic even if they don't stand at the forced national anthem in movie theaters.

I was called out and lectured by professors in school for not standing properly during national anthem once. It seems like epic lols when i think about it now.
