i think there is no as such restriction on the 32 K Pack.. like the 6 hrs Per day restriction on the 64 one..HOWEVER, sif clearly states that you cannot use your ack for more than 6 hrs a day.. if you do that then our account is treated as a commercial one and sif reserves the right to terminate it..

lol, yeah, can't trust those screwballs. On the other hand Ujjwal you give me confidence since it's annoying to log out and then log back in just a little while later. I would like to be able to get on the net off and on like I turn the TV off and on, heh.

 so a commercial user who uses his connection for sa less than six hours a da is treated as a Home User but a genuine home user who surfs the internet formore than that is treated as Commercial

No use goin into these details that if Sify treats a user as a commercial or not. They already have lot of pendin complaints to attend to. These things only happens when employees dont have nething to do (in this case they dont want to do nething). So just relax and use ur 32/48 plus packs as much as u like.My 48 plus pack runs for around 12 hours a day. after that, night pack takes over.

someone advice me for a package for emergenciues during day time as night only is what i have at this moment. :)

well i think the 256kbps pack sounds like a good deal. its not time dependent. 1gb would last 3-4 months for general chatting and mail chatting for 10 hrs usage in a week. or would it? not sure.think i would share a 32kbps pack with some guy around here who is not online all the time during the day. i can share the cost. contact me if anyone is interested. :) night time i got a pack so what i would want is 3-4 hrs during the day time!

1 hour of chattin = 2 mb approx1 hour os surfin = 8mb approx (Sify's official figures) u can also do a calculation based on number of hours u use.
