hard drive is probably failing. new a new one!

it seems to be running fine at the moment. but i guess it is time to have a larger drive just for safety's sake. was planning to buy one when windows 8 was releasing anyways.

would check out the tools from seagate just to be sure though. thanks!

in any case, i would probably be buying it from my hardware dealer. easier to deal with warranty replacements. i was more seeking about models that i need him to fetch for me!

Prices & warranty are confusing right now , they keep reducing the warranty period , there are just two brands to chose from Seagate & Western Digital , I never buy western digital , they have bad service in India RMA issues .
 
yeah i know. i would probably buy another one of seagate barracuda 7200RPM drive. or a hybrid if there is a good model available in the market.i understand seagate now has the shittiest warranties. but i never really had any issues with them and probably would stick to them. :|

mhm. sounds scary. i just updated the firmware of my drive for the first time ever :D

i have updated my bios in the past. even updated the firmware of my mouse :D hard drive was first.
