aju , after the patch up with marans and Kalaignar , now Hathway will be badly hit , so we might see our operator shifts again to SCV ITSELF..

I dont think so that might happen............. atleast my cable wala will not do that......

Today 1 month is over with using Hathway STB . I must say that i really liked a lot . I didn't face any blackout problem till now, i got only one problem with the wiring that too rectified in a day . Good going by Hathway . How about u Aju ?

Even i am happy with their serice and their channel offerings.......the best about hathway is that i have got 2 TV's in my house and in 1 of the tv i am using normal hathway cable line along with TS........in that normal cable i am getting 74 channels with good picture quality which includes 4 cable channles along with ndtv good times and CCC cinema channel..........:thumb:........with SCV i hardly get 64 Channels and out of that only 30 channels will be in good in pciture quality.......comparitvely i like hathway more than SCV.......................i hope my cable operator stays with hathway itself ..........

Hi,

I'm a Sun DTH user and NOT happy with the packages offered by SD, as it's really costly.

I need your feedback on the points mentioned below:-

1, Hathway is available in Mudichur, Tambaram West because it comes under TCP Network. [ Are u in Mudichur Road, or Mudichur Area itself, Clarify!]
2, 500 Rs Initial Deposit and No Online Payment Options, only thru Cable Ops.
3, AV Quality is Good.
4, For 200 Rs U get all channels, which u mentioned.

Go and buy Hathway and return SD .

I live in East Tambaram. :thumb:

Thanks,
Karthik

Answers:
1. Check with your local cable operator which service is he taking signal and delivering it to you.

2. With Hathway or SCV digital cable STB is free of cost but you need to pay Rs. 500 as an refundable deposit............the montly recurring cost for you will be Rs. 6 per pay channel you see.........All the tamil channels will be free of cost for both Hathway and SCV but Hathway provides 5 Cable Channels more than SCV.

3. I dont think Cable down time is that much of a problem but yes occasionally this might be a problem........

4. In SD you might be paying more than Rs. 106 for ESS channel but in Hathway and SCV you are just required to pay Rs. 6 per pay channel no matter whether its a sports or infotainment channel.......

Hi,I'm in Mudichur. Should I check with my local cable vendor (Last year I was using his service and as you said I got TCP)...Anyway, I appreciate the immediate reply from you guys. Thanks,Nirmal
