yes by end of month they will launch hd service but really hathway is very poor in digital cable quality and if they want to succeed in hd, they need to improve their management

Hi,are viacom 18 network channels coming in hathway banglore??regardsyes, it is a difficult thing for hathway to provide HD services through their existing network lines/cables, a small cut or a broken wire can lead to very poor quality, instead they might go with dish installation system of the same replica like of Tata Sky, big, sun, airtel, etc...and they might start with the pay per package system also.

I checked with my operator he has no clue (frankly he is a dumb guy he doesn't know much abt the regular STB as well)!!
Also I spoke a Distributor in Secundrabad... he says Hathway is releasing new STB but to the best of his knowledge they are regular STB but cost lesser than the Cisco STBs
650/- vs 950/-...

I don't think Hathway should or would go with the Dish option... they are cable TV service remember not a DTH operator...

There were many complaints on the previous versions of regular set top boxes, like video freezing,, remote not responding,, set top box automatically goes in stand by,, some games unable to load properly and exiting in middle etc... The C7OOON model works fine when compared to others.Hope the newer versions of the set top boxes works fine with good speed response.and Hope hathway increases more music channels and entertainment channels upto 200 channels with that of current list of 170. N start some more interactive services.

mine is c9700n,which is sleek and black in color.its one month old and working very fine..meanwhile they again added australian network back.i wonder how they will start HD service?..will they start package like thing for hd subcribers and charge extra?.. i dont think they will start packages like thing for sd viewers soon!!!!and about channel addition they are some what late compared to hathway banglore..and hope they will add hathway music soon!!

yes, we dont expect hathway for adding pay per package view, it really sucks...Hathway music is now initially available in some areas of western india like mumbai, pune, nashik, etc,,, all are desperately waiting when it strikes in hyderabad.
