Actually, but its TRAI mandate for operators to provide A la Carte details to us and this was pending since long on d2h website. In future, we can expect the a la carte price to reduce further.

And still, it can be useful, for someone who just wants to watch 2 or at max 3 out of all the HD channels. U wud hardly find such people, but u cant rule out finding such people. may be someone who just doesnt understand English, most channels are useless - Discovery HD, NGC HD, Movies Now, Star Movies, Star World, may b even Travel XP and Active 3D, for even a bigger majority.

No. A-la-Carte rate is at the sole discretion of the dth provider. so it will be according to the competition between them
