HD DVR Clarifications

Guys need help. Finally bought the dvr. It got updated to download id 20.Now a peculiar problem. DVR facility is not functioning.Well that one has to be activated.No problems on that part.The main problem is some channels from 101-120 and then some other marathi channels dont even run properly.All choppy and pixelated,breaks up every sec. But rest of the channels along with HD look good.The signal quality and strength is full 100%. May I know what should be set at the Diseqc thing ? should it be off ??What should i do guys help please ... :)
 
send mail to cc for channel issue & diseqc = off (by default). it doent be issue. Set any value u get signal right? x
 
diseqc is off and I get all the channels also. The HD channels work fine. Rest of the other SD channels also work fine but certain channels as I have mentioned above doesnt.They act as if its raining heavily outside. Talked to the customer Care just now.He told me to do a reset and still no go ..:(Edit: booked a complaint with them. Lets see what happens.
 
Nothing happen?Make again call to cc & mention u made call cc last time & what they suggested u & nothing happen after u done that too. Send an engineer to solve the matter. They will file a complaint & will send an engineer within 24 hours. Maybe today evening mostly.
 
Yup called them again and explained the whole thing. They are sending a service engr. Lets see what happens...Also can someone tell me whats the latest software update number ?
 
wohoo problem solved.Thought for a while and on past experiences decided to do a small experiment.Went to the terrace and rotated the lnb a bit.... and Voila ! Problem solved. Now all channels are coming fine :)Called them up and cancelled my complaint. weird thing the cc number (18008810111) at times connects to some random people :D

Clarification (for what the thread for waiting)By default DVR reserve 120 min / 2 hours for buffer it means 1% of Hard Drive & its shows 99% disk space even no any content record on DVR. Below is specification of 99% recording but User may change buffer capacity & follow calculation will be false in that case.SD recroding 100 Hours / 50% + HD recording 35 Hours / 50% = 99%ORSD recording 198 Hours = 99%ORHD recording 70 Hours = 99%ORSD recording x% + HD recording x% = 99% (depend on how user record SD & HD content mix ratio)I hope this clear to all member who has doubt.No use of multi feed language when playing recorded content.When user play recording content user can listen only by default set language audio. When playing recorded conetent of multifeed audio clip press blue button & option will show. Select a language press ok. Nothing happen.
 
I Presetted/changed in the Setup Menu, so whenever i record something with the More Language feed, i get my default language i presetted in the Setup.
