Ok did this stupid thing today, spent 3000 and installed the hd videocon d2h setup, the video are 1080i but audio are 2 channel only across all hd channel, why cant these guys get the technology right.. i mean we pay good money right after all.. ahhhhhhhhhh... ohh dont even ask about the cc guy.. his english was so bad that he could not understand what he just said.. let me know if there is any way around this.. looking fwd for espn hd tomm.. btw they have not started transmitting yet right??sk

U have to change a setting in ur STB to get multi channel audio, and may be connect via S/PDIF cable to get the best output.About ESPN HD, no, its not started yet. Even i am thinking of getting Star Cricket HD, but they said the channel is not "Activated" although u see it in the channel list.

Hey thanks for the reply, can you give a quick step by step to set up multi channel audio, all i see is in the TV setting menu there is an option for audio where it shows only Stereo and HOMECINEMA (which is again only 2 channel) any help ?? tia

No, that Home Cinema shud work fine......its working fine for me.And ensure that u use S/PDIF to connect to ur speakers & HDMI into ur TV........Quite a few times i have got foxed into illusions by the type of audio output i get!

tried this.. no luck.. still getting only 2 channel audio :(

Also ESPN HD/Start cricket HD is showing as scrambled, anyone else getting to see these channels.. ??

I said the channel is not launched officially yet. When they will launch, we can activate it.And for Audio - are u using S/PDIF Cable??

ESPN/Star cricket on finally... looking good. ya i am using an coaxial cable for s/pdif still only 2 channel.sk

So are u getting to see the Video? I mean what is being aired, or just that error message??And after using a coaxial, i think it shud work fine, else the box is faulty. U call their engineer then.

C'mon, they give u HDMI cord. Their 3D feature itself is based on HDMI v 1.4!!
