Help in Firmware downgrade

hi i want to ask one question ,it is good idea to backport snapshot branch to openwrt 24.10 for idu6x01 .is this approach currect or i am wasting my time.

Has anyone successfully downgraded the firmware via UART? If so, could you please guide me through the process? I currently have UART access on the JIDU6101.
