help me in finding a good isp for my laptop

as u can see, i am looking for wireless internet, but whatever i have known that i won't get a decent speed with wi- connectivity. is there any service (wireless) which could provide me a decent speed, atleast 256kbps, or up to 2mbps.....or i have to look for dsl connections for speedy net.... plz help me.......

IMO wireless internet in India sucks ...They have very slow speeds & high rates ...IMO MTNL's 849 NU is good compared to others ..

BSNL EVDO connection provides 2.4 Mbps wireless broadband unlimited use for Rs 550/- pm. I am having it and its really cool.

Im from Kerala. Im not sure whether they have started EVDO all over India. As per the postings in this forum, they have started in Kerala, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune etc. For more info, please check relevent sections in this forum.The max speed I got till date was around 1.4 mbps. The speed changes very frequently and wont be suitable for online games due to high ping time.
