Help with ultra low download speed

Hi. Help m out with this please. I use UTStarcom ADSL2 modem with a 512 kbps broadband connection on Mac OS X 10.6. Of late, I am receiving really low download speed on torrents as well browser. It fluctuates between 0 and 45-50, while earlier it used to be consistently around 55-60kbps. How can I get more download speed? What's wrong here?

Not familiar with MAC OS.Anyway check speed here and report results.You can try/change to open DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

I am not able to post attachments on this thread But I ran a test though, Download : 0.30 MBps, Upload 0.34 MBps (Server: Mumbai) .

May be an error at BSNL. Did you checked with them ?

lol.. their customer service is better not to be spoken about. If I were to wait for them, it'd probably take me months.

Normally slow speeds are server errors. There is not much we can do in our system.

HelloI m also faced this problemI m from amreli,gujarati m also getting slow speed ,,,at night time ,,,i get just 20-40kb/s speed////but at day time i get full speed
