Home 500c combo users beware

I am in the plan home 500c with 175 free calls. As per their ad. after free calls the call charge would be as per one india plan. In one india plan call charges for STD is Rs.1/minute. But when i received the detailed bill it shows they charged Rs.2/minute for STD calls:wall:. .

Dear Mr. Vinod,

Plz check it this way:

1. Dial 19621 from your land line and note down your meter reading.

[With the help of your previous
bill's last meter reading figure, confirm that
you have crossed 175 calls.]

2. Now make a STD call.

[Start your stop watch when the phone is
lifted at the other end and end the call at the
50th second by pressing the hook, you may lose
few seconds if you replace the receiver.
So, cut the line by pressing the hook]

3. Now dial 19621 again and check the meter reading.

[If the meter reading is +1 then you are safe,
if it is +2 your observation is correct.]

HOPE YOU WILL CHECK AND LET US KNOW THE RESULT.

Thanks for your advice.
Reg. STD charges - i already confirmed that they are charging Rs.1/30 seconds thro' detailed bill and also from the letter of AO -BSNL (i uploaded the letter in my previous posts).

You are correct. I think you need to mention this page to them.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
Ask them to see their website. You can contact higher ups regarding this. It is cheating by them.

When i sent the letter to AO i enclosed three proofs
1. copy of Home 500c tariff from BSNL Website
2. copy of oneindia Tariff and
3. A notice issued by BSNL regarding Combo plans
But the AO says they have no idea about call duration.

Now also i sent these three proofs to appellate officer. No reply so far.
