hai tinybird your are correct most of them having HOMECAST it good. only one think it is getting heat very quick.

yes .. venkat .. it is getting hot in soon ,, and some times restart prob also ..
but now i am not worried abt stb coz it is simply sun dth property

i dont have any Coship logo hence i hope it id home made STb and sundth providing Coship only to chennai, an\bangalore like majer city iam in pondy , all other mosatly getting home made i hope , also tthey blacked all serching option i hope

If you use S/ W Upgrada this is happended, service provider is blocking serching option i hope even this is happening in DISH & TATA also, am i right or worng pl conform i understand this by reading forum thread

On my Coship CDVB6750 STB, Upgrade Software menu option is disabled.. and the other options like advanced installation for manual scan, channel edit, tp add , edit are not all visible on my STB Menu.

Actually Till yesterday, Upgrade Software menu option is enabled. but from yesterday only it got disabled. Can this also be constrolled by satellites?? because even after removing the smart card also, that Upgrade software menu option is in disabled mode.. So it is not controlled by smartcard.

Can any1 help how to re-activate/ make them visible on my STB Main menu?

My dish size - 120 CM,

Signal Strength is very good, even noon time also it is good. Evening time Sun direct Signals are very strong. I did not faced any problem untill now.

About clarity, compared to tatasky Sun direct is very good clarity.

About Tatasky u need to buy big dish@160CM, even also some TPs signals are low.

Homecast STB (SN9000IR) supports only PAL. Coship STB supports NTSC also. LCD TVs brought from US will work fine.

I am using Coship. Its the best STB in Sundirect
