heh. bajaj first killed their scooter business. honda dominates that market now. and now honda is set to overtake bajaj in bikes. fun.

Its simple, bajaj wanted to do away with a home brand, they wanted to be distinguished with a category sub brand{pulsar,discover...} and thats where the problem was,

Thats the reason they got lost, they found their scooter business was not profitable, and it didnt have a major brand value.

Bajaj was late in realising that problem was quality n not anything else, pulsarNS shd mark their re-entry but hope the product is strong and engine is not heavily tuned up for mileage!

CBR 150R is officially launched in India by Honda at ex-showroom price ~1.16 l (Delhi). Here in Pune, on road cost is close to 1.3. Bit costly than expected and around 10k more than R15 v2! It will hit roads by this month end and booking has already begun.

Obviously. Activa and Unicorn rules the road currently. Their other bikes like Shine and CBR250 are also catching up the market.

I wonder why the F is CR-V not discontinued? It sells like 20 units per month I bet.

Then kizashi too is not discontinued. a single unit was not sold in march & about 500 units have been sold since inception

Captiva is also similar in terms of sales of CRV.
Civic was,is and will be an iconic car.
