It is illegal to use TS outside India.
Thousands of boxes are there in Middle East and suroundings.Tata Sky knows it but don't it mind if the money comes from the front door or from the back door:dance:!!!

I have no idea, but from my past experience, I will suggest you to try with 12-15 feet dish along with C-band LNB. But I doubt it will receive or not; or else you may have to check maximum size of dish available & try with it

If he wants TS channels, what will he do with C band and fta channels? 4A has no foot print in Australia.

I though he is asking about receiving C-band signals from Insat 4A, which may be possible, as from lyngsat map, C-band signals reach Australia.
My earlier post -
Looking at coverage map of Insat 4A (Insat 4A at 83.0°E - LyngSat Maps), its highly unlikely that Ku band signals will be received in Australia. The Ku-Band signals are in narrow beam and could be received in Indian Sub-Continent only. So I think Tata Sky cannot be received in Australia.
May be only Insat 4A C-Band signals could be received but with biggers dish.
