How do I enable bridge mode in this thing?

tried Tenda , no solution. Both my system log and LCO's app shows unauthorized mac. Onu in route mode should have worked because that is what I have been using for past 1 month. Even after that it worked in bridge mode for 10 days. No issue at all. The ip resets every 24 hour at midnight. Fiber gave me another credential and guess what it worked. Bridge mode doesn't work , system log says port binding failed and it is stuck on chap(bridge mode).

You'll get Unauthorised MAC from BSNL when you use non tec mac address for PPPOE. That means no router mac as they are not TEC certified!
No matter how many times you reset MAC you will get it again as long as you use router MAC address!

Unfortunately yes. BSNL tells me that my home connection needs 'one of their own onu'. I ask them about my office connection, "it's a legacy connection so it will work with your onu. New connections are required to have 'their onu'.
Question-- what about mac cloning? If I setup bridge mode , which mac address do they see? (onu or router) If none of this works I have to buy a new one. Can you suggest anything with good performance( 5 GHz and 4 1Gig ports) and decent ui .

MAC cloning works. You'll need to make sure that your PPPOE profile WAN MAC is not assigned to the bridge or Voice profile of your ONU when you delete PPPOE profile.
After that you can use the PPPOE profile WAN MAC in the router.
That's all.

I tried cloning the mac from a brand new Syrotech and It doesn't work in bridge mode. I want to let you know that my onu is very very dumb. It has the bare minimum settings like ppoe vlan dhcp and port forwarding. So mac cloning in the onu is not possible.

you need to copy wan mac address which is written behind router ,just below device mac address

mac cloning is done on second router not on onu ,just enable

I recently setup bridge mode with my bsnl ftth. Technically we have to raise a request with the lco for router change, then the mac binding is disabled and it will bind again with the router from where the first PPPoE conection is made again, in my case it is my Mikrotik router.

It seems bridge mode (with MAC Clone) is not working any more. In addition, I do not want my Router MAC to be registered in their OLT.

My ONU model - DG-GR6011.

@!!..PD..!! I tried all the option but always getting PADI timeout error on my router. I have three MAC ID on my ONT.

1. XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:97 (Device MAC - Written back side of the ONU) - I cloned this MAC but no luck.
2. XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:98 (PPoE) - I cloned this MAC but no luck.
3. XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:99 (VoIP)

When I set my ONU to bridge mode, it displays the PPPoE MAC. Initially, I tried configuring the VLAN on the ONU, but after it failed, I removed it from the ONU and configured it on the router instead. I reverted the configuration to route mode, and the internet started working again.
