So after being fed up with BSNL, I decided to try out reliance wire-line broadband connection. But problem is, how do I get the connection?
I tried to call them but they ask me to enter my 'Registered phone number or subscriber ID" in order to proceed. Needless to say, to have none of those. I even tried mailing them but haven't got any reply so far. Filled up even their online form and submitted it yet I did not get any call from them.
So if anyone has any idea how to get in contact with them and get connection / information regarding fixing of broadband, please let me know.
Thanks!

Are you sure you want to go ahead and take Reliance connection? After reading through all of the issues with reliance in forums? This is what will happen with you:
1. Their broadband fixed line connection only works if you connect through one laptop. If you try to connect through another laptop or mobile phone, the connection stops working.
2. They will then tell you that you need static ip to get it resolved.
3. And if you will get your connection disconnected, even after that they will keep sending you bills.
4. And if you will not pay those bills, they will call you up saying that you have arrest warrant pending in Delhi court.
These steps have got repeated with me and countless other people. Please stick with BSNL or take Airtel or other connection, but not Reliance.

So I settled down with AirTel but I feel the post-FUP speeds were better in BSNL. Not complaining though, so far the customer care's readiness to help has been really good.
A friend of mine who also switched from BSNL to something called YOU Broadband. Sadly, YOU Broadband doesn't provide service in my street so I couldn't switch to it. How is the internet and the service though? The speeds for that price seems really too good to be true.
