Five Net was actually awesome because you used to get insane speeds at night. but from what i know they shut down a year ago coz of some legal issue.

well i m using it bro ! i hv 256 unlimited connection and is working fine !

still its best for LAN, my friend in kurla can download 100 GB+ in one day with 100MBPS lan speed of Apex DC++, isnt it marvellous??

Any damn movie in 30 secs, gaming servers, what else do u want?
And for surfing purpose we have MTNL ka TriB200P plan which gives us 2Mbps speed!

yup, coz they use sify servers.

i guess they are still providing service in a few places. they have shut down in my area.

hello I have been using that connection its super duper rocking after 9pm the speed sucks under 10kbps if we all put more pressure on cable operator & if we keep calling fivenetwork i think it may be back but this time I changed it to 256kbps unlimited & it sucks man speed is just 20kbps-40kbps

I have been using Fivenet since more than 1 year and never faced any speed issues. i have tested the speed many times and it was always very close to or more than 256kbps. ( i have 256 kbps unlimited plan)Though there is one problem, every month when my subscription gets over, i have to phone the operator and get it reactivated. till that time it does not work.and BTW the dc++ is awesome.Usual share size at the night time is more than 20TB and no. of users is 200-300. it rocks.speed also is great, any time you may get more than 5MBPS.i have downloaded approximately 1TB since it started and uploaded somewhere close to 5TB...

Fivenet is great!I am using 384kbps unlimited package @ 500rs/month. Best ISP in my area. ^_^

I am using 7GB 256 kbps planSpeed is damn slow in my area (Byculla-Ghodadev-Reay Road). Prior to Fivenet, I was using 24 online, and speed to good 300 kbps - 512 kbps in day and 128 kps in night!Fivenet gives me dialup modem speed of 3-5 kbps:madness:I am planning to go back to 24 online connection
