How is Railwire for gaming and stability?

Hey there!

I read a lot of problems regarding Railwire broadband. However, it would be great for me if you can list them here, especially regarding gaming and the overall stability (speed, downtimes, packet loss etc.).

I saw that a lot people were having issues with CODM and PUBGM, is that resolved? And are you facing problems even in PC games or only these two?

Railwire is really weird. I was playing CODM and the delay was unbelievable. It was like I am having 300ms ping while my ping was constantly 48-49ms. :(

Strange, I raised a ticket a month back and within 2hr they provided me a gaming IP. Try contacting your LCO once.

Better call CC and ask for it. For my friend at Bhubaneswar, they were not replying on the ticket, I mailed Bangalore office and they responded and issue was resolved

No bro gaming IP has day and night advantage.

I don't play mobile game so can't say. But I was having issues in online games like GTA 5 dropping in empty servers, FIFA 20 not able to connect as it was P2P connection, getting kicked out from warzone server because of high ping , no connectivity issue in CS Go but after they assigned gaming IP my ping in game fot reduced from 80+ to around 40-60.

It all depends on what kind of games you play.

Beofte my NAT type was Strict. After I was assigned gaming IP, it's now moderate and all gaming related issues got resolved.

In windows settings go to, gaming > Xbox Networking. It will say nat type.

If it says strict or unable to qualify or blocked, you may have hard time in playing online PC/Console games.

They are not responding to me either. I also tried calling their customer care but no one was available.

The LCO had no idea about it.

I will try mailing to their different email addresses in Chhattisgarh. Let see if they do something.

@AkashDS Please share the address where you mailed and got the reply from. Also, could you share some speedtest results on foreign servers as well as Fast . com.

@WandereR I mailed at social (at) railwire.co.in

And I usually get 20-45Mbps in Fast and 20-80Mbps (download) in foreign servers depending on region. Upload speed is usually 80Mbps or more.

I get full speed in Ookla Speed Tests though.
