How is Railwire for gaming and stability?

Hey there!

I read a lot of problems regarding Railwire broadband. However, it would be great for me if you can list them here, especially regarding gaming and the overall stability (speed, downtimes, packet loss etc.).

I saw that a lot people were having issues with CODM and PUBGM, is that resolved? And are you facing problems even in PC games or only these two?

@WandereR so if I am paying 4000 rs just for ONT without wifi, that's normal? I don't understand why take so much money in the name of device which I think comes with retail price of 1000 rs if you buy it from market.

@Xecuter Yeah the one without wifi shouldn't cost anything more than 1000. Other charges may be for the fiber cable. Even I wasn't aware about this ONU + Wifi thing. My LCO must have given me one without wifi to reduce his cost.

So, I got the connection today and while at times it is far better than airtel 4G, it have huge delay the other times.

PUBGM have too much issues tbh... same issue which @WandereR mentioned...

@AkashDS I would suggest if you need to play PUBGM, do it via mobile data because the issue can appear anytime. In the morning though, that timeout issue isn't there. What's your state please ? I forgot.

@AkashDS I have raised several tickets via my account and tweeted they just don't reply. 2 days back I mailed the Kolkata and Mumbai NOC about all the issues but even they didn't reply.
