How to change the channel on an Airtel Xstream router and troubleshoot internet slowdowns

I do not think so. I had a Sercomm ont , in which wifi enable disable option was locked.
Cc didn't unlock options for months. Finally I asked for replacement. I've dasan ont now .
 
No.. it is with 2 antennae. Still it has 1Gbps/2.5Gbps max speed as specified in manual.
But I want to use VoIP , for which I need to turn on internet option in WAN1 .
Yesterday I was all set to unlock ONT, BUT I found that newer ONTs have their default password changed(after hard reset ) which I couldn't find anywhere on internet . I've mailed airtel today to check that box instead of unlocking ONT.

I think you'll find your ONT's password easily
 
Check if you IPv6 is ON.
Sometimes due to some misconfiguration in some places, Airtel IPv6 sucks and mobile apps works very slow.

If it's on. Trying switching it off. if possible, put another router on bridge and dial only IPv4 PPPoE.
 
Mine doesn't have option to turn on/off ipv6 in WAN. Do I've to do this in LAN? Also I've IPv4 NAT enabled. Is that ok?

you need to unlock your ONT @Craft123 . mine has many options unlocked. i only need to know superuser password which will be needed after unlocking
 
I can't find new video or thread on your ONT which will have new password. Your ONT may have same old password , but there are chances for new password. You may take the risk
 
Oh I’ll get this checked, but I don’t think so I want to take risk as I don’t have much knowledge on this, but I’ll definitely give it a try. Thank you👍
