i am using BSNL broadband from past 6 months , i am new to linux , i am using Mandriva 2007 , i am using UT-300R2U modem/rooter , please give me detail information reg configuration i am using broadband through usb in windows
Get connected with LAN not USB. USB is not suitable for stable net connection. Mandriva 2007 comes configured for ADSL and the connection tool auto loads with mandriva. Find the icon near the right side of the taskbar, it looks like an open plug. Configure it to accept id and password. Choose DSL option and PPPOE and then use manual configuration. U will find places to enter id and password.
