How to configure UT300R2U modem?

How to configure UT300R2U modem? I m unable to enter in its setting by typing http://192.168.1.1/ it says The connection has timed out
The server at 192.168.1.1 is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

try restarting the modem and then entering the URL.

Case I:
If you are connecting to Internet , but like to make some changes
in modem settings
Check this :Current IP Check
say 117.12.23.34.
Type this in address bar.
A new window will open asking access to modem/router.
Enter admin admin and try.

Case II: No Internet connection. No surfing.

Then reset the modem to factory settings, by pressing the switch
( usually at the rear) with power on for 20 to 30 seconds.
Check whether you can connect to Internet In "Dialer Mode "
Then try 192.168.1.1 admin admin ( or password )

Case III: Still unable to access modem settings.
In Computer :
Start / Network / Local area Network
Properties.
Network settings page will open
Select TCP/IP
Properties.
Enter
192.168.1.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1
DNS
8.8.8.8
208.67.220.220
Apply Save.
Now try.

Hints: : (a)you should not connect any other router wifi router etc.
(b) Start RUN type cmd Ok
New window opens
type ping 192.168.1.1
Any response ?

(c)SEE the "sticky" thread for WA3002_g4 and follow any link
for settings. ( Ignore Wireless settings)
