HOw to increase download speed

Hi , i have broadband connection of airtel of 128kbps. But whenever i download any thing then speed shows 10kbps to 15 kbps. So what should i do to increase this speed. Raj:hysterical::hysterical:

raj, thats the speed you SHOULD be getting in this plan. For slightly better browsing speeds, use OpenDNS servers, although you will have problems with opening some sites like rottentomatoes.For more speeds, opt for higher plan.

Raj confirm what plan again.there are 2 plans for 699699 UL plan promised speed of 128kbps, STD 30 sec pulsehome 699 with atleast 64kbps and above speed and STD at 1 min pulse.

Mac, irrrespective of the plan, the maximum download speed he will get is 16 kb/s...the only difference between 2 plans is the contention ratio...which is 1:1 in 699 UL.. and 1:2 in home 699....

I get 160Kbps during the day and 340Kbps from 11 PM to 7 AM (for free) on Home 699.
