hmm i searched .. i dont have that option in my modem.. ut300r2u ,also when i searched ,may saying its unsafe.. ,whats it about anyway.. and torrent yes..upnp is on already..
i see some nat-dmz option and some tweaks in it.. NAT -- DMZ Host
The DSL router will forward IP packets from the WAN that do not belong to any of the applications configured in the Virtual Servers table to the DMZ host computer.
Enter the computer's IP address and click "Apply" to activate the DMZ host.
Clear the IP address field and click "Apply" to deactivate the DMZ host.
yes, this is not the safest method because itll basically open all the ports to your pc. but ya itll speed up your download as you are able to connect with more peers.
ohh damm ... i dont think this a good idea lol.. by the way how to do a safe port forward then.. .. also i kinda understand i guess ..that even if i had more peers in torrent still not dowloading..fast so this port forwarding thing will allow those peers to open up and i can download faster.. so this is how it works ?
Management
so how can i get the port number to forward .. i mean how can i get a peer whos seeding.. and get file downloaded from that ..hope i am not asking too much details from you .. interesting to know some stuffs which might help me getting some cool files
by the way i have nat pmp upnp port mapping enabled in torrent already.. its also showing a port number -random port used for incoming connections.. ,only some torrents with no dht seeds wont download a thing.. so want to work around how to get downloaded from those kinda torrents
