How to use Beetel 450TC3 as Modem only?

Any pointers as to how we can use Beetel 450TC3 as Modem only?

I would want to use my TP-Link as my wireless router.

I can turn wireless off, but it would still retain its router function.

I would like the entire router function to be handled by my DD-WRT running TP-Link 841N.

Set it to bridge mode, if the option is available and let your TP-Link dial out.

Aim is to get rid of the double nat, I guess?

Aim is to limit bandwidth to selected devices.

Basically don't want the connected phones to use 16mbps. Want to restrict them to say 4mbps. Any way I can achieve that with a Airtel 450TC3 and TP-Link 841N(DD-WRT) as my hardware.

Seems easy enough according to that page for dd wrt. Set rules according to the Mac address of the phones.

Yes. I've been using that method when I was with Beam/ACT.

But the feature is not working when I connect it to Airtel's 450TC3.

Hmm. Set Beetel to bridge mode, enter username and password in TP-Link and try?

Strange though. As per as the tplink is concerned, its still get an Ethernet WAN input.
