Hello. I would like to know if its possible to use my D-Link 2750U ADSL2 router as a repeater.

I ask this because my TV is located in the hall while my router is in the bedroom. Though the signal of my TP-Link router does cover my hall, my Samsung TV doesn't have an inbuilt wifi-adapter :(

I know about buying authentic repeaters or buying Samsung's LAN adapter, but I dont wanna waste 2000 odd rupees for just watching FullHD videos on TV.

I recently changed from MTNL to SSV (which has been working wonders for me) and hence my previous ADSL router i.e. D-Link 2750U has been sitting idle. Is there anyway I will be able to use it as a repeater?

Yes 2750u can be used as a repeater, I just took that modem for ACT which had WAN connectivity and currently using 2750u as repeater.

Care to share how to do it?

I am getting a cable connection, will need a new TP-Link router, I will like to retain my 2750u and use it as a repeater, any chance you can guide me how to do it. I guess its via bridge mode, but how?

Can you share the steps for that Please.

BTW I have changed my firmware to middle-east. That supports both adsl and broadband, but was of no use as my ISP didnt support D-Link.
So had to buy new TP-Link
Now want to use dlink as repeater.
