@SayantaN - Thanks but it says "Sold out" in their website. Any other leads ?

I have an HSGQ 2.5GbE XPON SFP stick.

My ISP (Spiderlink, Jaipur) is confirmed GPON — my working RicherLink ONU uses:
  • GPON SN + PLOAM
  • OMCI
  • VLAN 224
  • PPPoE
  • OLT registration successful
On the HSGQ stick, I checked the firmware internally via telnet.

Observations:
  • Only epon_drv, epon_mpcp, epon_polling modules exist under /lib/modules/.../rtl86900/sdk/src/module
  • No GPON driver modules found
  • Running process shows only eponoamd
  • No gpon-related daemon visible
Seller claims firmware auto-detects GPON/EPON.

Does this firmware image actually contain GPON support?

Has anyone verified a true dual-mode (XPON) firmware build for this exact HSGQ 2.5G model?

Or is this an EPON-only firmware that needs to be replaced with a GPON image?

I want to confirm before attempting any firmware flash.
