So the latest report is that HTC is looking for a way to give a way to existing and new owners of regular HTC One edition to get access to the official Google build if they so desire.
LG has the Nexus 4. HTC and Samsung now have Google supported models. I wonder if Sony is creating the next Nexus phone considering they are the only one without ANY Nexus device until now!

Sony has a very small presence in the US market. Xperia Z is just going on sale there. I imagine this is the reason why they have not launched a Nexus device until now.
You need to have a serious presence in US to do that. But from what I hear they are now taking the US market seriously and the Xperia Z with Nexus Experience could happen soon.
Though I hope they pick a newer model for that. Xperia Z has a crappy display and they have launched better models since its launch I think.
Naa. They still have the Z as their flagship. But newer ones will obviously be in the pipeline. Also getting a Xperia Nexus is the best way to get a foothold in the US market.
