Hello Everyone, I am new here.
I also have a similar concern so I have a FTTH connection and they have given me a ONU router (Richerlink - RL801GW).
My plan is 150Mbps but I came to know that my existing onu router wan it 100mbps. I want to upgrade the setup but I am having difficulties with searching a good ONU router.

So if I purchase a router of TP-Link with gigabit wan will it solve my problem or do I have to purchase a ONU router from my ISP - they told me they have 5ghz ONu router but I believe it will be a cheap one.

I read it somewhere but now as I start to search on web there is not much info on the WAN port speeds of the router model. It is a richerlink onu my ISP gave it to me.
here is one manual I found on the product: https://www.asfiber.in/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/RL801GW-GPON-ONU-V1.0.pdf

Does
XPON Interface
RateUpsteam: 1.244Gbps Downsteam: 2.488Gbps

Did this mean the onu i have has gigabit Wan.

Hello Sloj, The device I have is a ONU+Router. So it has a PON, LAN port one power cable. The link I attached is my ONU+Router Device which is of Richerlink. So I just want to ask that it has a GE port like Gigabit Ethernet As i searched on net. I am facing some disruption over wifi in every device but ethernet connection is good and stable and the speed are below:
download 150-160mbps and upload over 160mbps Ping 3ms.

So the ethernet port can do more than 100 Mbps based on the speed you got. Get a router from the brand of your choice and configure it.

I just have one concern I heard in many videos regarding the WAN port of routers so do I need to be careful with that. If you have good suggestions on router under 3-4K INR.

It seems you forgot to mention the part that is concerned in the videos you have seen. I won't suggest anything, there are plenty of sites that have lists for different budgets.

The concern is that they say WAN has 10/100 or 10/100/1000 So i just wanted to know that did my onu had that speed limitation or it is only for the normal routers which receive internet via normal wire not fibre.
