with my postpaid, i usually recharge for enough amount to last a month or two. i converted it into lifetime because my usage is very little.

with postpaid rates dropping to ridiculously low levels(Compared to Rs 42 outgoing,Rs16 incoming when mobiles first arrived), it makes sense to move to postpaid, I thinkU get a better deal on postpaid and its always best to scout around for the best and cheapest plans for new customers.Try calling CC numbers of operators in ur circle and ask for EXCITING offers.Besides on a 500 recharge how much can you use???????300 max.........I guess.Thats 40% wastageand I know VF has a 100 rs per month or lower plan, maybe others have them too

Well If you are an astute player, you simply charge with very high validly like I got one year validity just for 250 bucks and now I refill it with 555/777 with 100% talk time ALWAYS!!!! and in postpaid one year hidden tax would be more than 250 bucks (Suppose your bill is mere 200 bucks+12.5% that is 25 bucks tax and for one year its gonna be 300:P) See with Idea prepaid is much cheaper! I spend just 20 bucks per month for validity:yahoo::yahoo:

i just got this thought because i am tired of recharging my sim. now a days, when i go to make a recharge retailer says network is busy e-recharge is not working:wall: if i ask for coupons, he says NO STOCK:hysterical: even in icici netbanking, prepaid recharge is very frustrating. it does not recharge for even 3 hours.

Then why do you recharge it with small amounts multiple times? Recharge it with high value and have fun!:)

Yes even i recharge for 1 yr and full talk time. if i need extra amt say at end of 10 month, there is always chota recharge.

The same reason why i changed my voda connection from prepaid to postpaid! :( And now every month i get billed more mainly wrong charges for VAS. Now i am thinking of shifting back to prepaid.

i was on prepaid till this year jan, then got bsnl postpaid (Jodi). i took 325 plan (for two numbers) where i get 100 Rs talktime, 100SMS, and 15 sec pulse. Unlimited between those two numbers ! call charge also less 50/90 ps. it comes around 425 monthly and i am quite happy with it because of unlimited talk time ! You can avail that in 199, 225 plans aswell.. 15 sec pulse is really nice while calling STD ! (hope they will slash the std price soon) ! Gets detailed bill everymonth without paying anything !

yes!! even i have noticed that BSNL has a few nice plans(especially couples sim)..and they r also profitable.:)
