India bandh tomorrow?

A bunch of 100 people on the road and the media is going gaga over how the entire city is protesting. I have seen bigger crowds outside Amitabh Bachchan's and SRK's houses during events.

People should not have to bank on their casual leave during bandhs and hadtals. If company wants them on work, they should provide them safe transportation. Casual leave is for meeting personal needs. If you are in IT sector, things are even worse. You will not get many leaves even if there it is a public holiday. It is ok if you are working for government, but leaves on bandh eat away a good share of people's leave.

so agantuk was also in that SRK n AB crowd , Team Anna is requesting all to be a part not forcing anyone and its true that corporate people wont take leave at all , aam aadmi he chutti lega aur jaayega

^ You must be in IT I too don't want any forced break. Spoils the entire plan, and the week. Would prefer working on a weekday rather than a weekend.

^^ Yeh am in IT. Working from Home is like, first watch TV and write codes and when it doesn't execute, get frustrated -- go & lock urself in a room and then start coding again for 10 hrs.

lol the event and promotion job sux more! been working on Nokia projects from 2 months, had to work and sleep in office for 4 days,
only got a weeknd as holiday . last year i have to go on 15th Aug too.

last year thr was a bandh by BJP, i dont know the reason but BJP workers did chakka jaam in delhi, took more thn 3 hrs to reach office from anand vihar to okhla by bus.
