Heh. What I was thinking was Clarke was so pissed that he declared even though posting only a moderate total! :D

Bold declaration by the Aussies to declare at 237/9 to have just a 3-over attempt today at the Indians...

I don't think Indian captains can think out of the box and do such a thing. Also ensures that you get first use of the pitch with an almost new ball tomorrow.
I don't see what was bold in that. It was unusual for sure but bold? I have my doubts. On the other hand he could have asked his batsmen to slog. 30 odd more runs and a shining new ball in the morning would have made more sense.

Considering they have made only 237 & any runs could be useful. It was backing their bowlers to get them out quickly which is bold in these conditions

It was the most stupid decision by Clarke to declare with just 237 runs on the board .. The last wicket could have added another 20-40 runs possibly ... What was Clarke thinking that he would have 3 wickets by the day end ?? Even if 1 Indian wicket fell it would not have made a massive difference ... Now India has to just bat sensibly and try to post atleast 350-400 runs which is possible with Aus having just 1 tough bowler in Pattinson .. Siddle can also strike but I dont see Henriques / Maxwell or Doherty really trouble the Indians ..

Remarkable batting. Amazing application by both batsmen especially Pujara given his injury. Hope they bat the whole day tomorrow and pile on the misery!

Yeah, Vijay was more the surprise to me

# Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara shared an unbroken stand of 294 runs -- India's highest second wicket partnership against Australia, eclipsing the 224-run stand between Mohinder Amarnath and Sunil Gavaskar at Sydney in 1985-86.
# Vijay and Pujara's stand is also India's third highest for the second wicket behind the unbroken stand of 344 runs between Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar against the West Indies at Kolkata in 1978-79 and the 314-run stand between Rahul Dravid and Gautam Gambhir against England at Mohali in 2008-09.
# The 294-run unbroken partnership is India's sixth best against Australia for any wicket - the highest is 376 between Dravid and Laxman for fifth wicket at Kolkata in 2000-01.
So, something to watch out for tomorrow.

Now one of them could be out in the 1st over itself, but here are the landmarks I would be on the lookout for
345 : Highest for the second wicket ever by India
377 : Highest for any wicket versus Australia by India
414 : Highest for any wicket ever by India
