Well the only players before this test series to have centuries in test cricket post WC 2011 were Kohli, Sehwag, Ashwin and Pujara!

Ha.. Throw them all out if they are not performing... Dravid & Laxman are retired. Dhoni has managed to get a lifesaver till another series & lucky for him its months away. Same holds good for Vijay, Dhawan , Rahane or Raina etc. They are scared to drop Tendulkar or he would have been dropped by now. Its ok, we will loose a few series, but better loosing with young guys who would value the Indian cap & would work hard to fix their game , not oldies who seem to have taken their places for granted.
^ The last century scored by Sachin was in centurion against SA which was 2 years ago. But i feel that they are going to have Sachin until SA tour which is going to be the toughest of all the tours abroad and we need atleast one experienced man like him to you know guide the youngsters. Sehwag has to earn his position is what selectors are thinking. @mhsabir - isn't jiwanjot an opener? CM Gautam?
Because he was always a middle order batsman, considering that there was no place in Indian middle order, he switched as an opener.
Numerous times he said that he wanted to go back to middle order and he does play better at that position.

I think we should not consider him at any spot at this point of time...
Jiwanjot is an opener. Gautam is a middle order guy. But yes, there are many guys who havent got chances because we have been sticking with people who havent been performing (Gambhir, Sehwag, Sachin, Dhoni) for long now . Even Dravid & Laxman were average. But the fact remains, they werent at their best or even 70% of their best when they retired.
Sehwag should have pushed for a middle sort the moment it was freed up. Now its too tough & he needs to score a lot of runs to prove worthy of a comeback at either position.
