sports 1 , sports 2 plus and star cricket have a lock in period of 180 days means. read carefully.



1} The cost of sports 1 plus is RS 40 for 1 month i.e 180 days{aadha sall} you have to keep it .

2} The cost of sports 2 plus is RS 40 for 1 month i.e 180 days{aadha sall} you have to keep it .

3} The cost of star cricket is RS 25 for 1 month i.e 180 days{aadha sall} you have to keep it .


The price of above packages are not monthly. it is on half year basis

Sports package are on a half year basis .


All other topup packages are on monthly basis .

I dont think you are correct. The only thing I agree with you is that the lock-in is for 180 days. What that means is once comitted, you have to continue on the sports package for 6 months ie for 6 months you will have to pay 40 rupees. That means 6 x 40 = Rs 240 for half year and Rs 480 for the entire year

This is what is mentioned in the BIG TV website.

" Starter Pack is mandatory. Channel line-up in each pack is subject to change without prior notice. MRP inclusive of taxes. Sports-1 Plus, Sports-2 Plus & Star Cricket have a lock-in period of 180 days. For all other packs lock-in period is 30 days. In case you wish to change these packs, cancellation charges will be levied as applicable."

So please be prepared to pay to pay Mr Anil Ambani some money when you realize you were mistaken and want to cancel your package.
I hope you now understand what lock-in means. Damn Bilal, you are even dumber than BIGTV's customer care guys:wall:
