such speed slowdowns are normal and dont last for very long. today my speed was slow for 15-30 min after a day-long power cut :)

The Issue i am facing is i am unable to go online Even It Says BSNL is Connected.

I Went to Command prompt and Pinged Defalt gateway, and Website.

I am Able to Reach the Site.

I assigned Static Ip 192.168.1.2 and Tried Still No Go

Changed the DNS Still no Go.

I tried opening the router page 192.168.1.1 from command prompt and from IE and mozilla.

The page Dost Open most of the Times .

Even it opens when i give the username and Password as admin and admin
the page Disapperars.

I also tried Connecting internet trough Airtel Gprs trough USB. Even its getting connected but i cant Access the Website .

Is it the Problem with the ISP or My Computer.

If Modem user ID or PW have been changed
Reset the modem to factory settings and try !
or Start RUN type cmd Type ipconfig /all
See the default gateway. If it is 192.168.1.1
try ID admin PW password admin utstar 1234
If you are getting connected to Internet no need for
changing settings now. what is the problem ?
Did you try suggestion/s in Post No 2 ?

/members/silas2/ Your PM.
1. Check your firewall settings. Check whether you can access OE or YM
2. Which is the firewall program you use ?
Even it opens when i give the username and Password as admin and admin the page disappears
If you had changed the modem access ID and password the settings pages will not open
. Any way try admin and password as password utstar or 1234
Else you have to reset the modem for factory settings
.Para two : 1.Start run type cmd type ipconfig /all
post details here.
keep both USB(airtel) and lan(BSNL) connected 2. Did you try any changes in the modem recently ?
