IPv6 being issued by BSNL Broadband!

maybe fire up Wireshark and snoop some packets. but it still doesnt talk about the WAN .
This is really quite a unique issue I have come across
Are you sure you havent opened any ports like SSH and Telnet on your public IP ?

nope. nothing is open on public IP.

@PranjalT if all wan ports are closed then check the TR069 connection status.

TR069 is enabled by default. I haven't touched that. Shall I disable it?

TR069 is indeed for remote configuration. Disabling it should do the trick. Try it you can always revert back to the old settings if it doesn't work.

I know TR069 is for remote access. Is there any way to check when someone logged in and is it advisable to turn it off?

some times enabling the logs also create similar issues. check that too and delete the old log files and free up some memory. @PranjalT

yeah you can turn it for no issues on that. In most regions they did'nt configured the TR069 itself.

i believe BSNL's IPv6 is not ready yet. cause it should have worked even with v6 right?

it depends upon the region. They are slowly working upon that side by die. i am from Tamil nadu here it is not working.

Disabled TR069 for now. cleared the logs as well. gotta monitor it for some time.
