I'm in ghaziabad and still no IPv6. I have a 200mbps plan and a ubiqcom ub5021 gvw router, should this matter with regards to ipv6 or its just a slow rollout?
i've changed it to ipv4/v6 but recently when the excitel guy came to fix my router told me that the WAN config page is just for show and cant be changed locally but only from the excitel backend itself. I've reset my router earlier and no matter what config I changed in the WAN, my connection was down until i call the excitel engineer team and they remotely changed the settings.
That's not true. When you reset your router the ppp config values got reset. You'll have to download backup config of your router to know about ppp password and you can use your own router
I'm using the ISP router and that one doesnt have any backup and restore option, i was able to retrieve the ppp password from the customer care but like I said, tried changing the WAN config, didnt work until the excitel team changed it remotely.
I tried the script, didn't work for the ubiqcom router (UB5021GVWD). I was able to ssh into the router using the excitel user with exc@123 pass but that only give limited control which did allow me to enable telnet but using the same creds, that landed me in the same limited shell. if anyone has any idea what the root user and pass can be (I've tried to ssh with root user but the router logs showed it's a non existent user.), let me know.
I think I might be able to do the same stuff as your script using this but i dont have a another router to test on my hand currently so i'll try to test the bridge mode later
