Another shitty app designed to sell you stuff instead of letting you manage your own bank account properly.

Yes, this is useless app. Can't even manage FD accounts.

Feedback widget is so bad lol.
Can't download or request statements.
Doesn't show charges for cheque book issuance.
Asks for too many permissions.
Still doesn't explain the difference between fd types.
But at least shows interest rate applicable on time period selected. It doesn't on regular app iirc. Indusind app does fd much better.

At first I thought they will discontinue the old app as it will be the new goto app, just to realise that all the features are half baked.

This seems like what SBI did with yono. Though they still have kept both apps iirc. Yono has half baked features but works for basic stuff.

Iris probably would replace the regular app.

Idfc mobile app did good here. You can download pdf of bank statement of any time period right from the app. Yes fucked up the statement format with the new website which no longer is on a4 format. Would find out next month if they have fixed this shit.

Most of the banks I have used(sbi,hdfc,yes,pnb) have inconsistent design language for their apps ui and sbi is the worst of all. Btw how is idfc bank(internet banking, apps, services) in general?

I dumped them most because they reduced interest from 7% while kbc was going on and Amitabh Bachchan was their brand ambassador and they advertised it heavily. And then reduced it to 4% after season was over. Also their upi was limited to 25K per transaction. Apart from that it was a pretty decent bank. Loved ability to download statements right from the app itself. Didn't use it for long. Mostly used it to keep spare funds.

Just got a push notification for personal loan ad. App does not use notification channels. Abusive behaviour.

god. this app is just as nasty as their online banking site. keeps on tampering with the clipboard on login. and feedback popup is such a nasty piece of work.

lol so finally found the place to download statements. and stupidly enough, it creates a pdf that is descending in order making it quite annoying to use. they have fixed the issue where app does something with clipboard when you open it and login.
