@ Chaitanya....C'mon man, i am not facing such issues, then why should i complain.....u have been facing issues, thats sad, but that doesnt mean that all will face same issues!! I am happy with my connection - only that minor irritation of logging on the internet when i switch on my PC.@ RajIs that the "Post 10 PM" speed u posted?? Coz ur post is showing me a time of "9:54" PM.....let me know what happened finally!!

LOL how you can BSNL is better then Reliance Broadband. FYI BSNL never give you 99% uptime and no one in customer care will gonna help you :D all dumbo. Reliance wireline broadband uses Metro Ethernet Technology not ADSL Telephone 62 years old crappy copper cable. BSNL disconnect you after 6 hours like MTNL Delhi and Mumbai do check your modem LOG page :D
Huh? I'm on Reliance ADSL. There isn't any metro Ethernet in our area.

Yesterday I called CC and told the rep. that I'm unable to stream Youtube vids. He says "Saar, YouTube is very popular site, so, many user log in at the same time, so, site become slow." - I was speechless after hearing what he had to say so I hung up. He also advised me to clear temp. internet files so that YouTube will become fast. Never in the past have BSNL people given me such a (or similar) lame reply. This is a whole new level of CC FAIL. :O

I'm not on any ISP's side here. I like tariff plans of Reliance broadband and the reliability/CC of airtel broadband.

To stream videos without buffering you can use speedbit video accelerator....that will work..
Thx, I'll try that!

I need to post a few screencaps....can anyone guide me to do that?? Esp. without making any account on image sharing site - fed up of making new accounts!!

imgur.comyou can either post without making an account. or you can create a quick one using twitter/google/facebook ids. the images are safe for 3 months without a view. or you can mail me the photos and i would upload them on my pro account which is much safer :D and send you back the codes for embedding here. :|

Dude have you ever used BSNL BB? If yes then your experience might be bad. That does not mean you talk crappy stuff about them. I have been a BSNL subscriber and never faced downtime for a single minute in past 6 months of usage. Many of my friends use BSNL BB and they are quite happy except tariff plans. I agree that their CC is not best but can you guarantee Reliance CC as good if not best? People are not happy with any service provider because of one or the other reason. Every customers requirement is different.

Do you think Reliance metro ethernet is available every where? Naah.

Do not recommend a service provider just because they use some metro ethernet technology blah blah. Every customers requirement is different.

I have been a Reliance Wi-max subscriber earlier and i am not et all happy with them. In a day i could access net for hardly 3 or 4 hours. I did not pay a single penny nor i returned their equipment

Admin....Then can u PM me ur mail id?? Its better that it is uploaded to ur Pro Account. It will stay longer too - i assume that.

hmm I called the Reliance CC yesterday (31st) at noon to request a new connection. Sine there was no response till today noon, I contacted CC again, asking why no one had contacted me yet regarding installation of my connection. The CC guy calmly told me that it would take upto 7(!) working days for someone to get in touch! (this was even stated in their e-mail) - wonder why there is such a long delay?

Amid posting the screencaps (which is still not done!!) i forgot to mention my yesterday's gains......

Yesterday night, the highest DL speed clocked was 5.3 MBytes/s......screencaps will prove that.

And i got speed in Mbytes for around 10 odd minutes during the night. Thats not all - coz apart from that too, the speed stayed in the range of 300-400 KBytes/s.......again screencaps will confirm this!!

From 1:55 in the night to 9:25 in the morning, i downloaded around 8.6 GBs.

Thats the windfalls u get on a few ocassions. And those who are following my posts since longer time will remember me posting such incidents on a regular basis.......

And i had an experience with their CC again -
In the noon, there was some issue.....i opened the login page, & logged in as well. But no downloading was happening, neither cud i browse the net. I called up the CC & first registered my no. for complaint.

Then 2-3 times i tried calling up their technical staff - the line came busy everytime & phone wud get disconnected.
And to my surprise, i got a call from their side in about 20-25 mins, and after following what she told me on phone, my internet was running again!!

Where do i find a reason to complaint now?? This is why, i am inclined to take their negatives with a Pinch of salt.

I am no Fanboy - but when i get some good service, i appreciate that fact!!
