Is there a way to pause BSNL connection charges

Assuming I'll not be using fiber internet for a month, what is the best way to save charges, (how much time will it take to downgrade and upgrade the plan)

Put it in safe custody. You'll be charged around 90 for a month.

I have put my connection on the safe custody and and I get charged around 50 rupees plus Texas which comes about 60 odd rupees
