ISRO Updates

Its an Indian government site, what do you expect? I'm sure its managed by NIC. All n00b over there. Never make enough preparations even when they expect it the most, like in case of CBSE results.

Good one. But it seems that instead of ISRO it more benefitted to NASA. It was probably one of their cameras not Indian.

frankly speaking i dont even see any reason why we need a moon program. satellites are ok but moon? no thanks. we have a shortage of transponders. isro should concentrate on commercial projects to be profitable for the common man. once that is done, get on with the moon project. if nothing else, at least DRDO should be given priority over ISRO... get weapons that work. not on paper but in real life.

Just realised this is in the Humor section. I still feel there is some mistake. I hope ISRO is not going by the pictures from any of their satellites that have fallen into our oceans.

Apparently the next mission would have Russian equipments, so next time they will get all the benefits, using our money.

@admin, you are correct. Even Mars may have water in under Ground and Venus has water in their atmosphere. Eventhough Moon has water, how do we live in moon without Atmosphere and MagnetoSphere. :ashamed:Moon is small when compare to Earth 1/5th of earth size,Day temperate is about 250 degree F and night freeze to 350 degree F below zero.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has initiated a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain responses from interested foreign satellite operators for leasing satellites with transponders working in Ku and C-band frequencies.

Isro’s move comes in the wake of acute Ku-band transponder shortage that the Indian DTH industry faces as they seek to add channels and offer high-definition (HD) services on their platform.
