Hi this is my story I contacted my local lco about changing the current ont (Netlink) wired to genexis wireless ont . He told me that the netlink olt doesn't support different brands of ont (genexis).
So I just asked him about the current ont gateway and credentials. He refused me to give and said we don't give any of the ont information to the customer. After that I asked him about the vlan id , he demanded me to call the ISP company support. I told him that I can't get it through the ISP and told him that you're the lco to provide me . He just rudely told me that if you want the connection you can or you can cut the connection.
Is there any right to ask a lco about your connection credentials?

@WieldyBinkie bro my ISP is xtranet (kfon) . I don't any issues with the ISP they are supportive . But the lco is waste

You can get your VLAN ID and credentials from your ISP. As for ONT compatibility, any ONT works with Netlink OLT. You need to either persuade your LCO to add your new GPON S/N or you need to clone your current S/N onto the new ONT. There are several threads on this forum that can guide you through the process of cloning S/N.
