if china can do it so can we :D i hope they upgrade my 256 UL to 512 and I'd pay about 500 more for a fat 1 mbps pipe :rolleyes:

damn, i was just going to switch from Home 500 to Home UL 900 starting Dec 1st !Note, Dayanand Maran only says "2007", its the article that says "come January" :)Also, today at my place in Pune, BSNL folks came and laid a cable which the guy called "fiber", but might it just be coaxial copper cable for their triple play thingy??In any case, I really hope we get 1 mbps unlimited for decent price!

I just want to say Yahooooooo !!! 1 mbps connection I am coming ! I need larger HDD ---> 1-10 TBs ;)

people just calm down. lets all be skeptical of maran's statements... i'll believe it when i see it! :P

he is a politician. he is there to make big statements during presentations and conferences. implementation is what matters.

May be Max and Sushubh are right.... but guys is'nt it sound good? uh ?

this is problem, not solution of speed. higher speed,-more downloading and surfing. and reduced rate-more users.we haven't good infrastructure of broadband bandwidth.b/s we all faces speed problem in day time. first they strictly have to give 256 kbps net 24 hours(not speed break). and then give unlimited speed. what about others ISP connection? what about service?

The hidden point in this statement is that" Make our party (dayanidhi maran's) win, then we'll give you 1 mbps or 512 kbps watever...."
